From the first track of the countdown to the number eleven, I was blown away. Ambient textures and percussives along with slightly detuned guitar chords all packaged together in a neat little box. Often times through out this release, I felt a sense of urgency that a track was building into a huge rock ballad or something of the like, but instead left me with anticipating what was to come next. Volume swells and a beautifully spacey as well a rhythmic synth lines also made their appearance on eleven. The final, titular track also features a video accompaniment that feels like something out of Joy Division's or Nine Inch Nail's play book. A very well put together release that I'm glad Very Nice Noise was able to release.
